Brent Snyder
Brent S. Snyder is of counsel with DannLaw and practices in the firm’s Cincinnati office. A 2001 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law and Max Gardner’s highly respected Bankruptcy Boot Camp, Brent has practiced bankruptcy and consumer rights law since 2002. Brent’s dedication to and experience and expertise in consumer law is underscored by the fact that he currently serves as Tennessee’s representative to the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
While he primarily represents clients in Ohio and Tennessee, Brent has served as co-counsel on cases across the country. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Ohio and Tennessee, the federal district courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Tennessee and the Southern District of Ohio, as well as the 6th and 9th Circuit Courts of Appeals.
He has also been admitted pro hac vice in resolved or pending civil litigation in numerous United States District Courts including the District of Maryland, District of Arizona, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the District of Hawaii.
During his more than two decades in practice he has successfully utilized a wide range of consumer protection statutes on behalf of his clients including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.
